Had the monthly breakfast with our Tulare crew: Ben & Alice Bennett, along with Alice's brother, James; Darrel & Linnea Thompson, our daughter's in-laws; Harmon & Dawn Atwater, with two of their great-grandchildren, Samantha and Makayla. Following breakfast we picked up books from Sean & Heather Bothwell for our grandkids. And then, a special treat, we listened to a radio broadcast on Hometown Heroes -- an interview with our very special friend, Harmon Atwater. He is a true American hero who won a Silver Star at Normandy and a Purple Heart at the Battle of the Bulge. I am only posting one picture of Harmon & Dawn Atwater, who have been married for 68 years.
