Day 225

We went to our daughter, Shannon's, house for dinner and we met her boyfriend, Stephen, and his mother, Andre'e.  It was a good evening.

Day 224

We are currently on the hunt for a motorhome.  Today was an interesting start.

Day 223

We finally made it to Visalia.  And, we made it in time to go to our small group study.  They were surprised and we were blessed!

Day 222

Well, we had better weather today and made it to Indio.  We should arrive in Visalia some time tomorrow afternoon.  Hoping to surprise our church family by showing up for small group.

Day 221

It was a rough travel day.  We drove through about 150 miles of dust storms throughout New Mexico and into Arizona.  Stopped at one of our favorite rest areas, Texas Canyon, and we are spending a windy night in Benson, Arizona.

We made it to Van Horn.  Will spend the night and hopefully make Arizona tomorrow.

Day 219

Well, we only made it as far as Boarne, west of San Antonio.  We're hoping to get off earlier tomorrow.

We spent our last full day here getting ready and spending a little time with the family.

Beginning to get ready to move on.  However, we took a break this evening to watch our grandchildren at Little League.

Took the grandkids to see The Tooth Fairy today.

We have spent the last two days with our family doing fun stuff.  Yesterday we grilled burgers at the RV and spent time near the water.  Today we went to the San Jacinto Memorial and the USS Texas Battleship.  And I don't want to leave out Una's experiments with the grandkids.

Day 212

Had a good lunch with Brook and the kids.  I enjoyed my last praise team practice with the Clearlake Church of Christ for awhile.

A wonderful day in the neighborhood!  Had a good time at the social tonight.

Another relaxing day and then this evening we enjoyed 24 and Castle.

What a beautiful day!  We enjoyed worship at the Little York Church of Christ and then had a relaxing evening at the RV.

Day 208

We enjoyed a beautiful day.  This afternoon we went to watch a friend in the play Oliver.  He played Mr. Bumble.  It was great!  We followed this up with dinner and cake and ice cream in celebration of another friend's birthday.  Now it's late and we lose an hour.

Day 207

Men's luncheon today, followed by Camden's class putting on "The Alamo" at school.  The rest of the day has been filled with relaxation.

Days 204-206

Well, I got busy and had late days so I have not been keeping up.  Consider this a catch up entry.  On Tuesday my cousin and his wife, Ray and Diana, came to visit.  We had a good lunch at the Hoagie Ranch, walked Kemah Boardwalk, had dinner at Dwayne and Brook's house, and topped off the day visiting until late in the evening at the RV.  Wednesday found us having a good breakfast with Ray and Diana, followed by a doctor appointment for me.  We went to the Houston Rodeo with the kids and saw Rascal Flats.  Again, a late night.  Thursday (today) we went to the kids school to watch Eli perform with his class.

Day 203

Had a great lunch at South Shore Grill.  But, I spent the afternoon in bed fighting off what felt like the flu.  I feel somewhat better tonight.

Day 202

I preached twice at the Little York Church of Christ today, with a nice barbecue lunch in between.  And this evening we had a wonderful small group gathering with our Clearlake Church of Christ family.

Day 201

Spent a big part of the day at a carnival at the kids school.  I have been spending a lot of time working on a family tree.  I'm not sure I realized how much work this was going to be...lol.

Day 200

Men's luncheon for me.  Lunch and walk with Brook for Una.  Rylee is spending the night.

Day 199

Had a good day together, and then a good evening at the kids house.

Day 198

Ditto from yesterday.  However, we did watch Camden's baseball practice.  Unfortunately, he got hurt.  Had a good time at church tonight.

Just another wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Had a relaxing day, went to spend a little time with the kids, had dinner and came home.
