Day 47

Another relaxing day with beautiful Fall weather.

Day 46

Another relaxing day.  Had a great lunch at the Hoagie Ranch Cafe and a good dinner at our RV park social.  Una went to a Beth Moore meeting.

Day 45

Had a relaxing day, except for the storm that came through.  I was soaked to the bone while saving our awning.  After I dried out we spent the evening at the kids house -- Una and Brook scrapbooking while Dwayne and I watched Wolverine.

Day 44

Kind of a no surprise day.  Had a good worship and the rest of the day was relaxing.

Day 43

We had a wonderful time at the Jazz Fest in Kemah!

Day 42

What a great evening!!  We had the kids over for a barbeque, filet mignon, corn on the cob, and sauteed asparagus...mmm...mmm!!  Then we toured Kemah Boardwalk and finished off the evening with a bowl of ice cream.  Doesn't get much better than that.

Day 41

 Spent the day watching sick kids.  This evening we took the family to Chik Fil A's for a free chicken sandwich and then to Cold Stone Creamery for a free ice cream.  Yeah, I know, we're a cheap date.

Day 40

Another relaxing day at beautiful Marina Bay.  We had a nice prime rib dinner at Saltgrass on the Kemah Boardwalk and enjoyed a nice stroll.

Day 39

A nice relaxing day.  The RV park had a social tonight with great Texas barbeque and Una went to a Beth Moore study.  God is good!

Day 38

Spent most of the day with our sick grandson, Eli.  Otherwise, a relaxing day.

Day 37

We had a wonderful day of worship with the Little York congregation.  Between the two services that I preached we were treated with an excellent KFC lunch and good fellowship.  Back at the RV park we enjoyed a great stroll around the park and visits with many of our neighbors.  Oh, did I mention that the Niners won again?!

Day 36

A work day.  I helped Dwayne clean out their garage, cleaned out the car, and just stayed busy all day.  Una spent the day scrapbooking with Brook and friends.

Day 35

Had a relaxing day around the RV, then went to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" with the kids, and then to dinner at Cheddars.  A good evening.

Day 34

Another relaxing day.  The weather has been just beautiful!  I turned a little wood today -- another couple of pens.  All-in-all a great day!

Day 33

I made a pen and pencil today.  We relaxed and then went to the kids house and watched Dwayne's slideshow of his trip to Russia.

Day 32

Today was Bunko day at Brook's house, so the day was spent preparing for it.  Towards the end of Bunko, about 9 o'clock, Dwayne came in, finally making it back from Russia.

Day 31

I have gotten a little slack in posting updates.  Sorry.  We enjoyed a good weekend with a preaching appointment at Little York Church of Christ.  It has been quite awhile since I have filled a pulpit on just such an appointment.  We were well received and enjoyed good fellowship in the Lord.  I am going to mow our Brook's lawn today and we are going to take our grandkids out for a treat.  Life is good!  These little ones sure enjoyed their frozen yogurt at Sprinkles.

Day 28

Missed a couple of days.  Nothing much happening here.  Had lunch and a good visit with B & Ruth today.  Enjoyed an evening with the family.

Day 25

Not much today.  Just hung out with the family.

Day 24

Had a wonderful Labor Day with the family.  Enjoyed a free chicken sandwich at Chick Fil A.  Overall, a relaxing day.

Day 23

Good worship today, fun with the family, and Eli spending the night.

Day 22

Nothing much today.  Enjoyed Brook and the kids and waxed her car.  That's it.

Day 21

Had a good day with Brook and the kids.  Dwayne left for Russia today and will be gone for nine days.  We have our little Rylee with us for the night.  The grandkids are always so excited to spend the night with Grandpa and Grandma.

Day 20

We spent a large part of the day babysitting a sick grandchild -- Camden.  This evening we got acquainted with some of our neighbors.  Life is good!

Day 19

We had a very relaxing day.  Our family came over and enjoyed a time in our park's swimming pool, then dinner at Chick Fil As.  I gave Camden a large turtle carcass with shell that I found on the side of the road across from the park.  He was thrilled.   Not so sure about Brook, but she accepted it.  LOL  Good times!

Day 18

Tuesday evening social at the Marina Bay RV Resort -- wine and hamburgers, woohoo!  Spent some time visiting with our neighbors, James and Sherrell.  Nice people.  Just a relaxing day.
