Wow! What a day we have had! After nearly colliding with a deer just a few miles from our campground, we safely made it to Yellowstone National Park. The sights we have seen are just beyond description. We taxed ourselves with a little hike to get to an observation point on the mountain for a different perspective on Old Faithful. Even though it wore us out and I suffered with pain in my leg, it was worth it. The view was amazing! The earliest we could get a dinner reservation at the Old Faithful Inn was 9 p.m. and the dinner was disappointing. However, our room was quiet and restful. Enjoy the slideshow.
