Day 673

Una spent the day with the grandkids and I spent the day around the park getting acquainted with neighbors.  All-in-all, a good day!

Days 670 -- 672

Yosemite Day Trip Slideshow
We had a really great day at Yosemite Monday.  We got home too late for me to blog.  Then on Tuesday I went to the wood-turning class, and Una and I got busy.  So, once again, I didn't get a chance to blog.  Today we went to Fresno and spent the day with the grandkids.  I am finally getting a chance to blog.  Enjoy the slideshow!

Day 669

We had a great worship, study, and fellowship.  Then we met up with our daughter, Shannon, and her husband, Stephen, to celebrate Father's Day.  Spent the remainder of the day at home, Wii bowling and a movie, The Sons of Katie Elder.  A really good day!

Day 668

Turned pens and pencils today, completing two sets.  I then listed them on eBay.  Una and I spent the rest of the day relaxing.  We did go out to eat at Red Lobster.  Saw a sight I haven't seen before.  An older man was sitting in a booth by himself, eating his meal, with an 8x10 framed photograph of his wife.  We all grieve in different ways.

Day 667

I broke out the lathe today and made a pen.  It felt good, so I'm going to make a matching pencil tomorrow.  This afternoon I went to a movie (Super 8) with a group from the church.  After a day watching the grandkids, Una joined the group and I at Chili's for dinner.  Following dinner we had a nice visit with the Kildays.  It has been a very good day!

Day 666

What can I say?  The number of this day is still just a number.  We had a good day, primarily relaxing around the rig.  I did climb on top to trim the tree that was blocking our satellite, and Una spent a great deal of time tweaking her presentation for Sunday's class, but it was still a pretty easy day.

Day 665

We spent the day in Fresno babysitting the grandkids.  So, I guess you could say we truly had a grand day!
