Day 664

I went to a wood-turning class today and started a bowl.  It was great fun.  We relaxed the rest of the day.

Day 663

We had a really good day today.  This is a picture of our group at fun and fellowship.  They are a great bunch!

Our Sundays are so rich!  What a wonderful day of worship and fellowship.

Day 661

We took a drive to Millerton Lake and had a visit with our kids and their friends.  It was a nice drive and the visit was great.  I'm just really happy that Una is feeling better.

Day 660

Our day has been good, since Una seems to have had just a twenty-four hour bug.  However, we didn't get to go camping.

Day 659

We had a regular day and it was good.  One of the standouts was a visit with Neda Childers.  This wonderful lady will be 93 this month.  She is so charming and very sharp, and very appreciative of a visit.  For those who have not experienced the blessing of visiting the elderly, let me say that you are missing a real treat.  These folks have so much to offer and the feeling you get from having lifted them is an invaluable reward.  These people spend a great deal of their time alone.  They need human interaction, and when they receive it they just light up.  One day, Lord willing, we will all be where they are.  Just maybe there will be someone who will take a little time out of their lives to share with us, and won't that be wonderful?  Think about it.

Day 658

Our Ashley got an award at school today and then we took her home.  She is sick.  The rest of our day was good, with our witnessing to a neighbor who said he would like to go to church with us.
