Day 558

Lake Havasu to Pahrump Slideshow We drove from Lake Havasu to Pahrump today.  Pahrump will be our home for the next two weeks.  It is a lovely RV park and we have a wonderful view of the mountains from our front window.  I'll post pictures of that view later.  For now there is a slideshow of Lake Havasu and our trip to Pahrump.  Enjoy!

Day 557

We had a good worship at Havasu Christian Church, followed by a potluck.  The rest of the day was spent in activity at the park.

Day 556

Another great day in Lake Havasu.  We enjoyed a Mardi Gras dinner and dance at the park.

Day 555

Another good day.  I took second place in the bean bag throw and in hand and foot.  We spent the evening with our dear friends, Ron and Sue Wilcox.  Life is good!

Day 554

We have had another good day around the park.

Day 553

Some days just go by without anything special . . . just good relaxing days.  Such is the last two days.  We have been actively engaged in activities at the park and it has been fun!

Day 551

A good day.  Got our oil changed, had a nice time at dinner, and I played Texas Hold 'em for three hours and it only cost me forty-five cents.

Day 550

After worship we had lunch and took a drive to Quartzite.  It was an interesting time.  Una is still suffering, but plugging right along.

Day 549

Never been to a place with so many activities, as well as, great meals and very affordable prices!  We enjoyed a craft fair, two wonderful meals, and tonight its casino night.  We get $2,000 in play money and we can win prizes.  A lot of fun.  The only down side is that Una seems to be getting another head cold.  Prayers are appreciated.

Day 548

A day filled with games . . . bean bag toss, hand and foot, Texas hold 'em.  Ah, the life of a retiree!

Day 547

Another wonderful day in the neighborhood.  We've been watching the park fill up with campers.

Day 546

Another lovely day in Lake Havasu City.  We enjoyed a Hand and Foot tournament at our campground...a first for us.  All in all, a really good day!

Another beautiful day in the desert!  Una did laundry, I read.  Not much else to report.

 The blog is back up!  We traveled from Bullhead City to Lake Havasu City today.  Enjoy the great slideshow of desert pictures!

It's been a good day.  We shared most of it with our friends, Deacon and Daisy, dinner at their RV, Wii at ours.

I seem to have come down with a sinus infection.  This filled most of the day for me.  However, this evening we had a wonderful dinner and visit with Deacon and Daisy, friends we made in Montana.

A day driving across the desert.  Earp, California is our home for the next week.  Just a few pix of our drive today.
