Laundry, weeding, and a video.  Life is good!

It's been a good day with our grandchildren, Ashley and Ethan.

Nothing to really write about today.  I have been suffering from vertigo, so the day has been pretty much of a bust.

Another wonderful Sunday filled with good worship and fellowship!

This has been the water day.  Woke up to our tub overflowing because the water was left on last night.  Took care of that and then when I went to take a shower I discovered that the water to our park had been turned off.

Okay, it's time to start a new strategy for selling this truck.  Had a good visit with Harmon and Dawn, followed by a good swim.

Still in a holding pattern, waiting for our truck to sell so we can hit the road.

Another relaxing day.  Big event?  Oil change...lol.

Yay!  We finally have a satellite dish on the RV that works.  While this was being done, we spent most of the day at Starbucks.

We went to Fresno and spent a little time with the kiddos.  Then Shannon took us out to eat for Father's Day.  It was really good.  We had a nice time with her and Stephen.

A great Father's Day!  We had a good worship, followed by a great lunch.

Went to see the Golden State Quartet in concert in Bakersfield.  Our dear friend, Ben Bennett was singing bass with them for the first time in concert.  He did good!

I was sick for the biggest part of the day, while Una did laundry.  This evening we went to Ethan's VBS concert.

We had a wonderful evening with a couple from our church, the Kildays.  First, a noisy dinner at The Dog House, and then the Star Wars Concert hosted by Anthony Daniels (3CPO).  It was fantastic!

High point today?  Having dinner at Red Lobster with our grand-daughter, Ashley.

Another relaxing day.  Went to Fresno for a BBQ and swimming with family and friends.

Fun & fellowship at the church was the highlight of the day.

Another wonderful day of worship, study and fellowship.  In between we saw Ashley perform in Thoroughly Modern Millie.  She was great!

Not a lot for today.  Laundry, shopping, organizing...just the usual.

Spent most of the day preparing scrap wood for pens.  Between that and taking care of business the day flew by.  Topping it off with a movie -- My Sister's Keeper.

We got our home back today.  So, we're celebrating by ordering out and watching a video.

Once again the RV is in the shop.  This time for the leveling jacks.  So, we are spending the night at our daughter's fiance's apartment.

Another wonderful day of worship and fellowship.

Had our monthly breakfast with the gang from the old home church.  The rest of the day has just been relaxing, until my computer started acting up...grrrr!

We spent most of the day waiting for our RV to get done.  Now we can tow our car.  We are another step closer to traveling as we have intended.

Day 288

We had a good lunch with my former English chair, Cathy Seigel.  Now we are spending the night with our friends, Terry & Stefanie, because our RV is in the shop getting outfitted to tow our car.

Day 287

Our home is finally able to travel again.  The repair is done, but tomorrow we take it to another shop to finish getting it set up to tow our car.  And, I start fighting the dealer to defray the costs of this repair so soon after we took delivery.

Day 286

Bakersfield is still home while we wait for the RV to be repaired.  We had a good time at dinner with our friends, Ethan & Eve and their darling baby girl, Annabelle.
