Day 195

We had a wonderful combined Spanish/English worship followed by a relaxing day.

Day 194

 

Well, we first spent time with the grandkids at Lowes helping and watching them build a wooden transformer car.  Then we went to Eli's baseball practice, followed by Camden's practice.  The evening was topped off with dinner and a card game at the Holmans with our family.  Twas a full day!

Day 193

Another relaxing day.  Went to the men's luncheon, looked at a motor home, and then went to dinner with one of our elders and his wife.

Day 192

Went to the zoo with Eli's kindergarten class and then had dinner at Don Julios with the family.

Day 191

Had a long, leisurely drive back to Houston today.  We met with Ray and Diana in Taylor for a wonderful barbecue lunch.

Day 190

Drove to Georgetown, outside of Austin, to spend the day with my cousins.  I'm tired now, so I'll write more later.  We had a great time and I found out a lot of information to help me with our family tree!

Day 189

Spent a big part of the day working on the family tree through Ancestry.com.  We are also planning a trip to Austin tomorrow to see some of my cousins.

Day 188

A great day of worship and fellowship!

Day 187

I spent most of the day in bed with vertigo.  However, Una was able to have a good day with Rylee at the Kemah Boardwalk.

Day 186

We had a nice relaxing day.  Una got to enjoy breakfast with our daughter, Brook, and I went to the men's luncheon at Zio's Italian Kitchen.  Then we had our sweet grand daughter, Rylee, over to spend the night with us!

Day 185

Another day around home.  Una made chicken soup for Juliette and we had a nice walk around the park.

Day 184

Una started the day being taken to breakfast by June, a wife of one of our Elders.  We went to the kids house where Una cooked dinner.  Then the whole lot of us went to the Chocolate Bar to celebrate Dwayne's raise.  When we got back to their house we got on a Skype call with Shannon and  met Stephen.  All in all, a really full day.

Day 183

Enjoyed another day with each other, then with family.  We grilled fresh red snapper and then Una and Brook went to play bunko, while Dwayne and I watched a movie -- Surrogates.

Day 182

Just another wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Day 181

We had a wonderful worship, followed by a pot luck dinner for guests and new members.  Tonight we enjoyed a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Texas Land and Cattle.

Day 180

Had a relaxing day.  Una went to the Ladies Tea at the Little York Church of Christ and then this evening we went to Robin Hughes 50th birthday party.

Day 179

We enjoyed another wonderful relaxing day.  I had a good time at the men's luncheon and we had a good dinner at T-Bone Toms.

Day 178

We had a wet day.  However, we still enjoyed a great lunch out.  Then we picked up the grandkids and took them to Panera Bread for a treat.  Una cooked a really good stew for dinner at the Thompson house.

Day 177

Spent a big part of the day setting up the outside of our space since the move.  We had a wonderful lunch at Signature Bistro in Seabrook.  I enjoyed praise team practice tonight.

Day 176

Enjoyed our free Denny's Grand Slam and then took our car in for the recall fix.  Toyota still rules!

Day 175

Spent the day close to home.  I have not felt well all day.

Day 174

We had a wonderful worship and fellowship at the Little York Church of Christ, followed by a good Super Bowl party.  Who Dat!

Day 173

We went to see Rodney today.  It's late, I'll write more tomorrow.  Ah, rested up, now I can at least add a picture of the clan.  We had a good visit with my brother and his daughter and grandchildren and my sister, along with my son.  It was sure good to have Brook's family with us on the trip.

Day 172

Another day with the family.  Brook cooked a wonderful dinner, while Eli and Camden had friends over.

Day 171

A day with family.  Una cooked dinner and we had a lovely time.

Day 170

Had another relaxing day.  Picked up the second season of Heroes from the library, went to praise team practice, and connected (through Facebook) with some of my friends in California.

Day 169

Just another relaxing day at home.  We did enjoy the weekly social put on by the RV park.

On this, our daughter, Shannon's birthday, we had a relaxing day staying close to home.
