As we begin a new chapter in our lives some have asked that we begin a blog to keep interested ones informed of our whereabouts and activities. As the time to actually take off approached our seven-year-old grandson told us to have a good time on our adventure. Thus, our title "The Great Keen Adventure" was born. As you peruse the site it is our hope that you will be blessed with what we have to share and where we have been. God bless you!

Day 73 & 74
Not much to report. Got home from camping out with the family yesterday. Had our slide out repaired today. Unfortunately, I'm still sick and getting really tired of it.

Day 72
After a night of pouring rain we had a good breakfast, followed by a day with almost constant drizzle and rain until about 4 p.m. The kids enjoyed more smores and we had a great dinner around the campfire.

Day 71
Hey! We finally made it out of Houston for a while. After a good day of worship at Little York we took the RV to Bastrop State Park where we met up with the kids and their friends. A great campfire and smores!

Day 66
Another lazy day. Did very little, but enjoyed the relaxation! I went to the RV park's social tonight while Una went to another Beth Moore conference. She is really getting a lot out of these studies!

Days 63 & 64
Long days and I was remiss in posting. So, I'll make an attempt to catch up. Saturday was a great family day with the kids picking out pumpkins and having fun at a church pumpkin patch. They enjoyed the petting farm, the train ride, face painting, frito boats and snow cones. Following this Una made a great dinner us and the kids as we gave Dwayne & Brook an opportunity for a night out with friends.
We went to Little York Church of Christ on Sunday and I preached for them. We had to meet in their fellowship hall since someone had tried to steal the copper from their auditorium air conditioners. Nonetheless, we had a good worship and fellowship. Una and I went to Star Cinema in the evening for dinner and a movie, Zombieland. This was just about one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen.
